Wired or wireless?
Wired, almost always, for commercial work — it is more reliable, powers the camera over the same cable, and does not compete with your WiFi. We use wireless bridges where a detached building or gate makes trenching unreasonable, and we will tell you which is which on the layout.
How long is footage kept?
As long as you need it to be — storage is sized to your retention period. Thirty days is the common commercial baseline and the figure that matters for HB 837 multifamily compliance; longer is a storage line item, not a redesign.
What actually happens during a hurricane or an outage?
The panel switches to battery and keeps reporting over cellular, so monitoring continues even with no power and no internet at the building. Cameras on battery backup keep recording. You keep phone access to the system as long as you have a signal, wherever you have evacuated to.
