Thinking About Switching? Keep Your Equipment.
Call us right now — a person answers
Most alarm panels can be reprogrammed, not replaced. Keep the hardware you already paid for, drop the long contract, and get monitoring from a local team that has walked your street.

Side by side
The comparison, plainly
| Typical national provider | Sentient Systems | |
|---|---|---|
| Who answers the phone | A call center, eventually | A person, here, now |
| Your existing equipment | Replaced — and financed | Reprogrammed and kept |
| Contract | Multi-year, auto-renewing | Month to month |
| Service call | A regional dispatch window | The tech who installed it |
| Storm resilience | Varies by package | Cellular + battery, standard |
| Who profits from replacing your gear | The seller | Nobody — we did not sell it |
How it works
The takeover, in three steps
We evaluate what you have
Panel, sensors, and communicator — most equipment carries forward. We tell you plainly if something is too old or proprietary to keep.
We reprogram the panel
Your system reports to our monitoring instead of theirs. Usually a single visit, and your codes and sensors stay familiar.
You cancel with confidence
New monitoring is live before you cancel anything — no gap, no overlap you did not choose, no drama.

Common questions
Before You Call
Is switching legal? The equipment is in my house.
Hardware installed in your home is generally yours once any equipment financing is settled — what ends is the monitoring agreement. Check your contract’s term and cancellation window; we time the cutover so coverage never lapses.
Will my old sensors work with your monitoring?
Usually. Most mainstream panels and sensors can be reprogrammed or bridged to our monitoring. The takeover evaluation answers this per device, free, before you commit to anything.
What if I’m still under contract?
Read the term and the cancellation terms — some contracts end cleanly at term, others auto-renew inside a narrow window. We will help you find the dates and schedule the switch so you never pay for two services or stand uncovered.
What does monitoring cost with you?
Competitive with the national rate you are paying now — month to month, with cellular reporting standard rather than an upsell. The evaluation quote puts the exact number next to your current bill.
Which areas do you cover?
Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay counties — Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Milton, Pace, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Crestview, Niceville, Panama City, and the communities between them.
